HAMILTON DEANE (1879 – 1958) signed 8″ x 10″ letter in 1927 (dated 18th June) in blue fountain pen ink.
He is famous for bringing Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula to the UK-stage in 1924. His play crossed the Atlantic in 1927 and the role of Dracula was taken by Hungarian actor Bela Lugosi. The rest is history.
