TOD BROWNING (1880 – 1962) signed ultra-rare signature in heavy pencil on a yellow page (5″ x 8″) removed from a book in his personal library.
Tod Browning is remembered for directing ten movies with Lon Chaney Sr. (The Unholy Three – 1925 – , London after Midnight – 1927, etc.) and for directing Dracula (1931 – starring Bela Lugosi), Freaks (1932) and Mark of the Vampire (1935).
Fine condition (VERY small tear in left border, not affecting the signature !)
