DAVE PROWSE (1935 – 2020) appeared in The horror of Frankenstein (Hammer 1970) , Frankenstein and the monster from hell (1973) , Star Wars (1977) and in many other films.
This is an original script for Shakespeare’s “As You Like It” , owned by Dave Prowse.
Includes Prowse’s section (it is not a complete script !) of the scipt in which he played ‘Charles’ , with interesting annotations in Prowse’s hand ! and the original letter from the BBC, offering him the job. 23 pages, bound together with the original metal tie in the corner.
Also includes the “Outside Broadcast Schedule”, covering all manners of details concerning the production, such as : cast, recording days, hotel information, etc. , over 60 pages, bound together with original metal tie to the corner.
This script comes with a unique embossed COA from the Dave Prowse Estate which has been signed by Mr. Prowse’s wife and son.
The episode was aired on the BBC on December 17th 1978 and featured Helen Mirren as Rosalind and Brian Stirner as Orlando.
