Edmund Gwenn was a British character actor. He appeared on the British stage from 1897 and in the US from 1921. From 1935 he also appeared in Hollywood films : The Walking Dead (1936 – starring Boris Karloff), Them ! (1954). A total of 94 IMDB-credits from 1916 until 1957.
And of course he was Kris Kringle in The Miracle of 34th Street (1947).
